Panoramic Photography at Orlando Wetlands Park, Christmas, FL
In this panoramic photography workshop, we will begin with establishing the proper positioning of your camera on your panoramic head, understanding the ideal lens length (prime or zoom) and the hyperfocal focusing point of your lens – three important things for successfully post processing your image in Lightroom or Photoshop. We will also explore proper overlap of images, and compositional techniques.
Required equipment for this private workshop:camera, zoom or prime lens with 50mm lens length, tripod, panoramic head for your tripod. An intervalometer for your camera is suggested, but not required.
There are a myriad of panoramic heads on the market, if you do not own one, please let me know and I will give you a couple of recommendations - they are not all created equal
Note - this is a private side by side shooting workshop and full COVID -19 precautions will be observed as follows:
1. This is a two (2) person workshop – no additional attendees will be allowed.
2. Social distancing will be practiced as feasible.
3. There shall be no sharing of equipment – this eliminates the potential transfer of germs by touch.
4. I will wear a face mask at all times – this protects me and protects you. I shall require that you do the same. Face masks will not be provided. If you arrive without a face mask – the session will not proceed.
5. I will wear gloves and change multiple times through the day. I will ask you to wear gloves as well. Gloves (latex or non-latex) will not be provided. If you arrive without gloves – the session will not proceed.
6. I will have hand sanitizer with me and I will use it often – You shall do the same for your protection and that of everyone in the workshop. Hand sanitizer will not be provided.
7. Please refrain from shaking hands, bumping elbows, hugging and other forms of greetings. I will demonstrate a virtual handshake for you.
8. Please wash your hands/use a hand sanitizer prior to touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
9. If you are sick, feeling un-well, running any kind of elevated temperature, have a cough, or gastro-intestinal issues – please stay home. I will reschedule. Health is far more important than the images you may capture.
10. If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or had direct contact with an individual diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days. – please stay home. I will reschedule. Health is far more important than the images you may capture.
11. If you have been ill and were tested for COVID-19, but have not received your negative test results back - – please stay home. I will reschedule. Health is far more important than the images you may capture.
12. If you have been exposed, or think you may have been exposed, to COVID-19 within the previous 14 days, do not attend the session. I will reschedule. Health is far more important than the images you may capture.
13. Please consider your own wellness in attending any of my workshops, if you are in any of the high risk groups for COVID-19 identified by the CDC or the medical profession.
14. I will issue notes on pdf – not as handouts. This will ensure that I am not touching anything that could be taken home with you.
15. I will have antibacterial wipes with me for my own use. Location facilities do vary, but I always try to make sure a restroom is available – although it will most likely be a public one. Infrared Photography Private Session – 3 hrs.
This session is best for the photographer using an infrared converted camera.

In this infrared photography workshop, we will begin with establishing the proper shooting position in relation to the sun. Understanding infrared exposure and how it differs from both film and digital, we will then capture images reflecting your own personal vision. Maximizing the quality of the image capture in camera will optimize successfully post processing your image in Lightroom or Photoshop.
Required equipment for this private workshop: infrared converted camera and a tripod. An intervalometer for your camera is suggested, but not required.

Portrait Photography – Private Session - 3 HRS
Scheduling is based on model and instructor availability.
This will be a session with a live “subject”. If you wish to bring your own “model”, please let me know as tis will result in a $60 deduct in cost.
Workshop starts with a short session on focal length and ideal settings. We will setup a wide variety of photography situations to illustrate how to read light, pose your subject and come away with quality images you can be proud of.
This short workshop will guide you step by step through the process and teach you how to bring out the best in your natural light portrait photos. Learn how to pose your subjects, choose pleasing backgrounds and avoid harsh shadows. We will learn how to: find the right light for great exposures, pose subjects in attractive ways, work with your subject for great smiles and candid moments, find pleasing and complimentary backgrounds and avoid harsh shadows.
This class is perfect for those who are looking to improve their portrait photos of children, family, pets and more!

Infrared Photography with an Infrared Filter on a Non-Converted Camera – Private Session - 3 HRS
In this infrared photography workshop, we will begin with establishing the proper shooting position in relation to the sun. Understanding the filtered infrared exposure and how it differs from both film and digital, we will then capture images reflecting your own personal vision. Maximizing the quality of the image capture in camera will optimize successfully post processing your image in Lightroom or Photoshop.
Required equipment for this private workshop: infrared blocking filter in 690nm, 720nm or 830nm, an intervalometer for your camera and a tripod.
